Default The Subarman challenge

Well! I was given a challenge by Subarman himself to see what I could do on a very tight budget

The challenge in question! to 'improve' this........

As you can see, it was in need of some shall we say 'loving'

The working brief was!

1... the car had to be useable, something that could be thrown around and left anywhere without too much worry.

2... the car had to fit in to the 'wagon squadron'

3... the car was to be done on the tightest of budgets.......

4... the finished car should be something completely different to how it was delivered to me.......

Well...... after a two day turn around, I 'think' I have fullfilled the mission

Only got a quick pic, as the car is still sitting in the neighbours garage..... hopefully get some better ones tomorrow when He comes to pick it up.........

I know it will be a bit marmite but I think you'll agree....... it is a bit different to how it started out and definately suitable for Subarmans formation parking

The Subarman Challenge??????

Was nothing to do with me!!! The brief was designed by my neighbour and owner of the car, Sir Compostable Punnet, an old codger and high-ranking civil servant with a taste for the unusual. Here he is with the car before handing it over to Ron.

I just delivered it to Ron because Sir Compostable had hurt his foot and couldn't drive!

Sorry about the jumper, Phil!!

We weren't allowed to see it until it was finished, and in fact, Ami still has not seen it. She could look on here, but wants to see it in the flesh first. Hopefully tomorrow.

Now we have had it on the drive for a couple of days, we hardly notice it. Funny how you get used to it. The carbon is fabbo - I am a big fan now.

Ron put an awful lot of effort into it, with Fred's help, and we think he should camo-wrap everybody's car. Silver Wagon next I think...................

Big thanks Ron....................

Cammo wagon

Looks great, compared to before.

I suggest ditching the hub-caps and showing off the steel rims, or cammoing them if you prefer
