Default STI upgrades on a WRX hatch

im looking to upgrade the intake and intercooler on my 10 plate wrx hatch

do I need to find a 2008+ STI intake and intercooler in particular?

or would one from say a 2006 STI hawkeye fit, as long as its 2.5 engine?

cheers

Default

Hatch WRX and later cars have a bolted flange on the turbo & inlet manifold which is not the same as the STi's which continued with the more traditional pipe / jubilee clipped style of fitting........
