Default A few from Peak District & Duxford IWM
Spent a couple of nights up in the Peak District during the Bank Holiday.
Early start from Hastings and we were there by 10:30.
Day 1 : Spent the day at Heights of Abaham and Matlock Bath



Day 2 : Spent looking at a few Cotton Mills. Very impressive from an engineering perspective. How someone managed to design all the water mills and mechanics/machines that creates just a piece of cloth amazes me. Would of been very noisey too with 100's of machines running. It was loud enough with just 3. Then drove up to the Dam Buster practice site at Derwent Resovoir.








Finished Day 2 on Snake Pass





Day 3 : Time to head home, but an early start mean't we could stop at Duxford on the way back. WHAT A PLACE....took us 7 hours to get round and would easily go back and do it all tomorrow......

Yeh was a good use of a few days, and I've never seen the kids eat so much during the 'Premier Inn' all u can eat Brecky....kept them going all day too'
