Default Rear subframe

Hi everyone
2001 wrx uk300
After some advice please!
Rear subframe has lots of surface rust a small hole on either side where it bolts to car
, so I’d like to know if it’s an MOT FAILURE ?
Mostly it’s solid but looks **** so I painted it with hammerite
I replaced the front subframe last year as it was shot !!

I'd be surprised if that wasn't a major failure unfortunately.

That's a mot fail as it's not structurally sound if you are looking for a replacement speak to Matt Baker hes on Facebook.

The way its rusted underneath makes me wonder if its spent a lot of time parked on something damp. How long have you had it? This is what you usually see when a car has been parked up on grass for long periods of time.

I wonder whether it spent a lot of time parked on anything wet because of how corroded it looks below. For how long do you have it? When a car has been parked on grass over an extended period of time, you typically see something like this.
