Default lost boost?

hi all been working local and not used the motor properly for a good month, got back from mexico and battery was almost dead luckily she fired up, thought Id give it a good blast once wam and boost was only reaching 0.5 bar! usually a notch under 1 bar of boost, I found it would reach higher a
near redline but this is not right, usally boost gauge will instanly show just under a bar when boosting, other than that it drives fine with no issues

Check all the boost hoses, the ones above/near can get brittle and split.

my actuator became sticky recently, went from 1 bar to .7 then finally to nothing.

Freed it up and it was back to normal, you can put a large syringe on the pipe going to it and see if it moves.

Yep......that'll be the problem if the hoses have been replaced for silicon.
The short hose from the turbo outlet nipple to the t-piece has a brass restrictor inside.
If you have swapped this for silicon and not fitted the restrictor then the actuator will be seeing the incorrect level of boost and opening too early.
