Default Advice Please - Increasing power on a budget

Hi,
I would appreciate your advice and guidance. I have a relatively standard 03 blobeye Prodrive Sti. I would like to marginally increase to power (just for fun), but didn't want to spend a fortune. Initial thoughts were to just change the injectors at this stage. If I did this, say to 650cc, would the fuel pump be sufficient (I think the Prodrive Performance Package included an increased flow fuel pump). I didn't want to change the turbo at this stage. Would I aslo need to get the car remapped?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Budget max £500 - £750 with me doing the work.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Greg

The OEM injectors will be fine, no need for bigger

Other than that... what Scooby999 said is spot on

Thanks for your advice. For the airflow are there any recommended induction kits? There's so many to choose from! Would you upgrade from the Prodrive exhaust?

Sorry last question - are there any recommended mappers in the Sussex / Surrey area that people have experience in using?

Thanks again Anger and Scooby999

filter and full decat with a remap will give you a bit more but the limit will be about 340 with the stock turbo.

A good panel filter will be good at these power levels and Jolly Green Monster is a local mapper and is on here

Just to mirror whats already been said really.

Re-map (JGM), good panel filter as your starter and if you can push it, go de-cat. If you think you will go de-cat though, arrange this in conjunction with Simon (JGM) so that you can get the map done straight after.

Simon (JollyGreenMonster) has mapped mine, but at the same time mapped Scoobieshmucks 04 STi. All Paul did (aka scoobieshmuck) was change the fuel pump and then remap and it increased from 265 to around 330 bhp with similar torque figures. It felt like a different car after the map.

Thanks for all your advice - it is much appreciated. I e-mailed Simon at JGM a couple of days agoand just waiting to hear back from him. May try via Surrey Scoobies as he's not come back to me yet...

Thanks Steve - already looking at turbo options and a large TMIC. Just have to persuade the family that they don't need a holiday next year

Having just got a bit radical with mine - I will have for grabs soon around the 14th Sept a K&N Panel filter plus if you're interested a set of Pink injectors (STI). I do have an EcuTek's ECU but it's the WRX one so I don't think will fit.

Thanks BlueBugEye. I already have the injectors and K&N! What have you done to yours?

Destroyed the big end on piston 3 on the way back from the Nurburgring in May, the new spec is in my 'enforced project' thread!
