Default The internets a funny old thing!

Stumbled across what seems to be the latest oddity on the t'internets today which i thought was worth sharing - the Harlem Shake. No idea why it started but Wiki says:

Quote:
The Harlem Shake is an Internet meme that went viral on YouTube in early February 2013. The meme is in the form of a video that began being replicated according to a similar concept by many people.

The videos last between 30 and 32 seconds and feature an excerpt from the song "Harlem Shake" by electronic musician Baauer. Usually, a video begins with one person (often helmeted or masked) dancing to the song alone for 15 seconds, surrounded by other people not paying attention or unaware of the dancing individual. When the bass drops, the video cuts to the entire crowd doing a crazy convulsive dance for the next 15 seconds.
And now half the world seems to be doing it, with universities and even the army joining in. Is this the planking of 2013? Quite impressed at some of the effort than must have gone into the organising though, all for 30 seconds of internet madness

Warwick Uni trying to get in on the act (know this spot well as an ex-Warwick student myself)

Norwegian Army...

Even the Manchester City squad having a go

Maybe if they put as much effort into playing, they wouldn't be 12 points adrift of Utd
