Default 7p Killed My Stereo

The stereo on my car has been playing up for a few days, no sound, then no power, then switching itself on.

Took it to Road Radio in Redhill today (who i cannot recommend highly enough - great guys up there), and when they took the stereo out there was 7p INSIDE it in coins.

God knows how they got in there, but they had slid around and shorted the circuit(s)

I now have a very nice Kenwood DDX4028BT (DVD headunit) in its place for a VERY good price.... and got my windows tinted aswell.

Like i said..... fantastic guys up there, great prices, and can't recommend them highly enough for both stereos and tints.

(just to add they are fully mobile, and can come to you to fit stereos/alarms/trackers and do the tinting)

That's what they said when taking it out. Fairly common apparently. Must have been in there for a while.

I've got the DNX2220BT DVD/Satnav/Bluetooth, absolutely bloody brilliant piece of kit!
