Nice work Steve! Alcatraz is a great place - so much history and so many ghosts! You've really captured the feel of the place! Can't imagine what it must have been like for the inmates who were there in the bleak winters!

I am a little concerned about those poor prisoners Human Rights though.

It must have very uncomfortable for the them.

Cheers all.

It's a cracking place, I found it absolutely fascinating. I didn't find it eerie though.

As a prison, it was actually not a bad place to be considering the quality of inmates there. Alcatraz basically held the following....

If you were, too bad for regular jail, they moved you to maximum security jail.

If you were too bad even for that, you were sent to Alcatraz.

But they were treated pretty well considering.
