Default hard to start

Can anyone help I have a 1994 wrx import that takes forever to start its fine if I get it started then switch off then on it starts perfect but leave 10 min its hard to start again alread changed plugs and fitted newage coil packs changes fuel filter any advice

Unplug your MAF and see if that helps it to start at all.

Makes no difference if the maf is connected or not

It will smell of fuel as its pumping unburnt fuel into the cylinders,

When you say it doesn't start? Is it cranking over or is there nothing ?

Cranks over sometimes for about a min before it starts

Mine became a sod to start from cold...turns out I was low on compression....
