Default a couple of questions??

hi guys

next year im going to start modding my blob sti which is completly standard at the mo!! not looking for much just about 320 bhp or so!!

With the exhaust im thinking of going sport cat for mot reasons!!
Am i right in thinking that the ppp pack puts at sport cat in the down pipe and deletes the second cat?? if so and i did this, the car would still be good for the mot??

also any recommendations on a good sports cat that isnt overly pricey??

thanks sam

Yes, the PPP on the STI replaces the standard Subaru downpipe cat with the Prodrive sports-cast and also removes the second midpipe cat. They will still pass an MOT like this.

I'd hunt for a 2nd hand prodrive sports cat tbh, going to be cheaper and probably a better fit than an aftermarket one. If the cars completely standard, worth getting the map sorted after the swap too.

Mine made 338.4 bhp 340 ftlb with a full decat, panel filter and fuel pump so with a sports cat 320bhp should be perfectly achievable depending on condition of engine and turbo of course

320 should definitely be achieveable with remap, its what the WR1 has with the same engine/turbo and prodrive sports cat.
