Angry Heating repair advice

Since you lovely people seem to know many things perhaps you could help me with a problem i have...

I live in a HA house, and yesterday lunchtime my Boiler stopped working so i have no heating,,, i called Swale heating who told me it would be Saturday, but have been told that since my week old Granddaughter lives with us we should have had a priority callout, like the elderly and Disabled, some have said within 4 hours,i rang swale back, and they told me it would be before midnight.... But nothing.. and boy was it cold last night.... minus 3 outside

Can anybody tell me who was right within 4 hours? or can Swale keep me waiting even though i have a newborn here...

Thanks Trace x

Normally with British gas you would be priority.
they also give you small fan heaters to use / keep as i still have one given to us when they had to switch us off when the boys were small.

I don't think its the law which says they should get to you within 4hrs if anyone in the house is vunerable, I think it's more of a company code of practice thing. I'm not 100% sure though. I would still complain if I were you though
