thats some clever stuff, guess its just a shed load of programming behind each one.

not sure if they are aware of their position relative to each other, or whether they are manually placed in formation on the ground and then the programming guides them through the air from that starting point....

cool stuff though

Very scary.....a whole host of applications avaialble there.
I wouldn't want to be the one having to sign off the safety of flight paperwork when they start making them bigger and sticking weapons on them.

They were a few years off with the date, but based on that we are getting closer to Judgement Day - 'The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th'

Very clever stuff. As Steve says I assume each is just programmed (or guided remotely), rather than actually being "aware" of its surroundings.

The military have been using Unmanned aircraft for years, they are just getting smaller now.

I would like to see how stable these are outside a lab.

If you look in the last clip i posted there seems to be a rail around the room on two levels with sensors on and red lights??

Does it use these to jot and plan each individual quadrotors position?
