Well it certainly seems by the last time I went there, that the people in Eastbourne are the last to die too!

Its very heavy down the west side of the country. Our factory in Wales has been snowed in already, and the snow has moved down as far as south west in Poole and sheeting it down. And could be heading east and heading our way . Game on!

We have just had a 10 minute flurry here that has left about half an inch!

Tomorrow and Sunday looks like it could be full on. If you really cop it, the Met Office say up to a foot is possible

well that drive home was fun!

2.5 hrs from Chelwood Gate to Burgess Hill (via East Grinstead to pick Claire up). Only and inch of snow but its frozen on the road into a white sheet everywhere, so everyones doing 10mph tops.

Forest Row, Wych Cross, Chelwood Gate area is all fooked.

Managed to lose it on a downhill section on a country lane (in 1st gear!). Just so steep that i couldn't hold the car and it was accelerating with ABS fully on. Nudged the bank at walking pace with the front corner but don't think its damaged anything (worse case its scatched or cracked the splitter, bumper seems fine). Ended up at 90 degrees in the middle of the road though

It'll freeze overnight and tomorrow will be much worse. Guess the gritters will be out tonight but they won't be able to get far up the hills!

It has taken my other half 3.5 hours to get back to Hastings from Langley nr. Eastbourne.

She did not see one fooking gritter.

The road is like a skating ring even the main A259.

The at the councils

Its not as if it wasnt forecast.

I got to Sevenoaks on the A21 last night at 7.00, then didnt get back into T-wells untill almost 10.00!! Thats only 8 miles!

Used my brakes on the up side of the A21 Hill, and started to slide instantly, a little Ford CA in front was doing about 5 mph! Had to accelerate past, in the snow covered lane.

Not looking forward to my journey to work in a mo, have to go in though, last Saturday before Xmas, my busiest day of the year. And the weather says were due a shed load more at 9.00 ish.

Thats cold, but I'd be more worried about the fact that you are about to run out of petrol

Spoke to my mate during the week who drives gritters, and he told me the forecast the council use told them no snow untill Jan, so there were no plans for extra gritting.
So did they ignore every other forecast in the UK?

My wife was stuck in the gridlock around Tunbridge Wells last night.

She left Grosvenor Rd Car Park at 3.45pm, arrived home at 8.15pm.

6 miles in 5 hours, she was not a happy bunny when she got home at all so we had to go out for a curry and a load of ........

...... which was nice
