Blimey, didn't realise that!

I feel a real sense of achievement knowing that all those Bitburgers went directly into improving the hotel

I'm up for that if you fill the tank after - not used mine for ages as it's so bloody expensive!

I saw that a couple of weeks back - see this thread:
http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...ead.php?t=7937

Think its to do with the GP circuit (or part of it) being open too.

Looks like the turbo will have to wait - just not able to do it on the cheap as I can't get turbo, fitting, mapping to tie up so would have to go Engine Tuner or Scooby clinic to get it sorted at around £2k!

I don't know who Joe is but I'm hoping all is okay with him & you Nige.?

You are not coming to The Ring now ?

Just to update things. My wife (Hev) & I are up for this and I have contacted Tim.

Tim has advised me of who is going and when but I was slightly confused. Is anyone else catching the 8.00 am Ferry on Thursday 26th ??

I hope all works out okay for you Nige.

Joe is Niges son and ring co pilot.

Great to see you have got things sorted out Clive

Nige was heading down on the Thursday, but that obviously looks like it won't be happening now

There are a couple of options with regards the Thursday ferry mate.

First one is change to the Friday and cruise down with the bulk of the members.

Second one is that Martyn & Myself will be leaving Brussels at about 10.00 - 11.00am to head down to Auderath (the Ring), you have to drive past Brussels on the infamous Brussels Ring Road to get to Auderath and we could meet you en-route.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Wishing Joe all the best & a speedy recovery Nige.

Steve, that would be good for me to change the date to Friday regarding the ferry.
I'll end up in a Turkish fishing village going by myself.
I will contact Tim.

Cheers mate.

Things are looking better for Joe now. He had slit his spleen & loosing allot of blood. Touch & go a few times the 1st night. I never thought i would have to work on my own son believe me it came close. Joe being young & fit had managed to stop the bleed on his own & now making good progress. He's now out of ITU & on to a normal ward. Thing's with the Evo have come to a stop at the moment & to be honest im not that bothered. Good news for Skullfudge though {arse kicked} If & its a big If Joe feels up to it i will still go just for the jolly & to get him away for a few day's. I will be in the Saxo & he wont be going on track. Thanks to all for there well wishes & concerns for Joe.

Great news Nige, I am really glad to hear things are going well and he's on the mend. Everyones been worried waiting for some news.

It's things like this that make you realise what's really important mate and it ain't cars.

It would obviously be great if you could both make it out there. In the old wheels of steel You could always come out as a co-pilot with me for a lap or 2 if you fancied.

If you can handle going that slowly of course

Glad to hear he is on the mend.
I think if possible you should both defo still go.

Looks like there may be no Evo`s to show the way this year, insurance are dragging their feet and car is still bent
