At least this means that theres plenty of nearby shelter if we need to hide from the showers

Looking forward to this, better get out and clean the car, its not turned a wheel since it was parked up after Tuesday's journey home from Germany.

Changed plugs and near side front was seized in , a complete fooker to get out . Can only assume it has been butchered in before.
Thread in head is fooked .
Engine out, head off, might as well do both head gaskets .

Extremely pissed off

Have a feeling this is going to turn into an expensive project, replacement head,
Head gaskets, arp head bolt kit , inlet spacer mod, cosworth cam belt , silicon turbo inlet pipe and that's just the beginning
Not wanting to rebuild, just get running again.

Martyn hold fire buying a Cozzy belt. A mate of mine has just done a deal and will be getting original Cozzy belts for around £60.00.

gutted, thats a ****ter mate

convoy wise, i expect we'll do the usual A27 route as per our Goodwood brekkie club meets - meet at Patcham BP (A23/A27 interchange) then on from there. Can pick up those on route as normal. If stand needs to be in place and safety briefing starts at 8:30am, i'd guess we'd want to be there for 8?

So 7:00am meet at Patcham BP, to leave at 7:10? That sound about right Scott?

Belive scott said that he was going to print some new bits out for us to display,

My cars rear diff is really playing up now so I very much doubt I will take part in the track proceedings.

(will tag on to the back of convoy at my usual spot steve)

Dave.

Has anyone got one of these we can use on the day?

Those rubber exhaust hangers can be stubborn little feckers.

Happy to help others with there backboxes, can do this by hand there is a knack to it (+ brute force ofc) a screwdriver will surfice if there really stuborn but have not had to do that in 4 exhaust swaps .

The better half is bringing picnic food (enough to feed all of west sussex most likely!) Is anyone else doing something similar (She asked)

If possible I'd like to switch to an am session (crow man?) to give us flexibility on leaving time as we'll have Ben with us.

Thanks Steve - See you there. Was also going to go to the breakfast club tomorrow, but after seeing the forecast I may give it a miss...

Time to break it to the family what time they'll need to be up on Monday!

British cars isn't it tomorrow? Could have taken Claire's MG ZR but i'd certainly feel rather inadequate parked up next to your Aston mate

I don't believe this !!!!!!

I'm not sure if being put in the same bracket as The Crowman in relation to anal windage is an honour or an issue that causes huge concern to myself ?

Will be leaving hastings at 0620 so should be with u steve for 7.

Although they asked for reg numbers we should all display passes, so as long as you have a pass getting in shouldn't be a problem.

Am session cars will go direct to paddock, pm and stand cars go on stand near old control tower. This is road side of the track so do not go through the tunnel under track.

I will post passes up as soon as I am off phone and on lappy.

P.s we still need money from some.

Its is entirely up to you what food you take.

I would imagine that you need to have a helmet.

I am taking mine

If you need to borrow one let me know.

It is not clear whether we all need this or just the Track cars.
I suspect that as the SES stand is to be close to the Track paddock that we may all need one, but I will confirm.

Track goers need to be on site for an 0830 safety briefing.
If you are in the afternoon session there is an additional briefing at 1330.
Cars on stand need to be onsite by TBC.

/Edited by Steve - think this is the wrong pass so don't print it
Isn't this the pass?

I am bringing some tools for backbox swapping, plus I will also have a set of metal car ramps so we can easily get underneath cars.

The correct passes will be posted up by Scott shortly!
