Weather is looking a little dodgy at the moment but never mind, if it does rain we have use of a big marquee next to the pub

We haven't had the greatest luck with the weather this year but we still always get a good turnout nonetheless. Although we only had one wet day at the Ring really, so it certainly wasn't a washout!

We'll have the SES gazebo to shelter under by the cars if needed tomorrow, plus plenty of shelter at the pub. The BBC Weather is showing a lot of rain about midday but then more patchy showers in the afternoon, so if the sun comes out it will dry out quickly

Does this mean I can leave the enormous insect graveyard currently attached to all forward facing surfaces of the sc00b intact in the hope some bad weather washes it off so I don't have to?

If I clean the car tonight and it rains tomorrow I will be tempted to bring the pug!!

Have a great day tomorrow people

Started giving the 22B some loving today and decided to go the whole hog, so its bumpers and trims off for a good clean and seal of everything

mainly to get rid of all this unsightly dirt sitting on the plastics

will be sorting a couple of stone chips to the front end whilst the bumpers are off too

needless to say, very much doubt I will be done in time for the meet Claire's working overtime, so the Fozzy will be tied up too

Enjoy the day and stop worrying about the weather!!! It didn't spoil any of the ring trip so i'm sure tomorrow will be the same

see you all soon

Just checked the forecast again and its changed for the better

Looks like sunshine with scattered showers and the heavy rain/storms not coming in until the evening. So the afternoon might be fine after all

Its completely up to you how long you want to stay. Most people will turn up around 12pm, then leave when they want to - after food, ice cream, walking or a spot of boating. Oh, and not to forget hanging around the scoobs nattering

I'm sure they'll be plenty of people there for most of the afternoon.

Going to have to miss this now I'm afraid. By the time I've finished work and got there, it will be nigh on 6pm! Hope you all have a great day.

Thanks to everyone for coming, can't believe i've got sunburnt considering how bad the forecast was. Its certainly a lovely pub and venue for a nice afternoon meet.

I've posted a photo thread up here:
http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/v...ad.php?t=16090

Was nice that the sun came about out after the rain, within half an hour of the downpour we were sat back outside again

I've just had a glass of water thrown into my face not realising I had fainted.
My family were going to call the Doctor but after a few minutes I felt okay and told them not to bother.

My wife said "what do you think caused that?"

I replied "Not sure. I was reading a thread on The SES about a meet they had knowing there was a 1% chance of rain and I noticed Stiggy's car in the photos"

The next thing I knew I had a glass of water thrown in my face.

I very nearly came to this mate. I had it planned just to turn up but work ruined that idea as we have an important job to do over the weekend.

Cheek

Great venue when I finally got there..

Thanks for the cup not what I expected with so many well turned out motors there.. Well done to the organisers for sorting the day out, thank you.

Went out with a mate Sat night (yes I have one) I told him about the visit to the pub and turns out he knows the owner and spoke to him, he did say if you enjoyed the visit and you would like to rate the venue on trip advisor it would be appreciated.

I think I have a glass of water for Clive here that I can give him
