Default SES Brands Hatch Session & Photos - 19th April 2010

19th April 2010

Righty ho one and all. To make things a little simpler I am locking the previous thread and moving the details of times, dates, last list and how to pay into a new thread.

Hopefully this will make things easier for everyone. I will send out a mass e-mail later as well asking people to check this thread with regards to dates, times, payment etc.

Okey dokey then, lets start with how to pay:

I have reserved you two sessions (18:20/19:00) on Monday 19th April where we can run to 102db. This will hopefully allow for more of you to attend and enjoy the evening. All the details are exactly the same including the photoshoot on circuit which is pencilled in for 17:00

I have also set up two exclusive links for you to use to book your session. There is also a full evening available if anyone fancies that instead. There are 20 places in each session available. If there are places still available by Tuesday 6th April they will be put on general sale (with this in mind it might be worth trying to fill the session at 18:20 first).

Track Day Taster Sessions: £25per session
18:20 - www.clubmsv.com/ses1820
19:40 - www.clubmsv.com/ses1940

FULL EVENING BOOKING

I know there were a couple of you that said you had done 3 or 4 previous track events, but I am happy for you to book as you will be in an exclusive session.

105db is for the days, they reduce it to 102db for the evenings to keep the local residents happy (incase they can't hear Eastenders/Coronation Street)

Is that through Pistonheads as they had a large presence there last time.

Hopefully it won't be foggy for you as that delayed the start time when we were there.

Just watch the first corner as it runs down to the start of the runway. The entry is quite quick, but you need to brake hard and the camber is all wrong. Makes the car very nervous.

I'm going to E-mail Nick this morning with these issues and see what we can come up with. If it means tweaking the date slightly then I'm sure you'll understand.

Ok guys. Having spoken again this morning with Nick, we don't have any movement on the 102db. With bungs and noise reducers of some description the vast majority of us should be ok.

As a precaution it will be a wise idea to pre check what your db reading is. We will arrange a time and date asap where we can all do this, so please keep an eye on the thread for details.

Nick has said that any cars that are not able to get out on the track for db levels are still welcome to attend the photoshoot part of the event as we will be lead around the circuit by a safety car in front and behind the scoobies.

What I have spoken to Nick about is an SES track session at some point a little later in the year, which will be a full afternoon with 3 sessions on track which will be £119.00. This has a 105db rating as it finishes before 5pm.

Just in case anyone hasn't got one.

Scoobyworld sell the following for £25.99.

If you think you might at any point want to do another track day, this is probably a must.

Or if you have the regular 2.5 inch flange fitment on the rear silencer, either refit a cheap standard box or a lower noise aftermarket box.
Always loads on ebay and you can always flog it on again after the event.
May even make a profit if you take good pics and advertise well.

CJ: I have all the info the Shell has emailed me about the 30-130 and I cant find any info on noise levels at 102.4 mate ??

How can a RAF base nominate a Db level of 102 when there Tornado's take off at about 6.8 million Db's ?? that's crazy.

If that is the case it is pointless me going.

I have emailed Shell and will see what she suggests.

Maybe a £ 50.00 note taped to my exhaust may work when it's my turn to be tested

Was there last year and they never tested any exhausts (that i noticed) so i think as long as its not silly loud then it will be fine

Hi worzel is this fully taken as it's difficult to gather from the list who has commited to tracktime vior parting with the old spondoolees.
If you have spaces available I will come on track a pay Motor Sport Vision directly.

Hi,

We have quite a few bookings coming in now but there are still lots of places left.

I saw that some of you have been having trouble with the link for the full evening. I have checked it and it is working fine.

Full eve - http://cmsvbooking.motorsportvision....ProductID=6064

If you have any other queries please feel free to contact me.

Thanks
