Been a while since I posted here [bout a year or so, so Happy New Year]

snowing here again now.

Claire had to go to work as she's got a magazine which goes to print this afternoon that still needs finishing - it took us half an hour (and a shovel) from stepping outside to having her car out the street

It's a nice little town to be honest.

I love it here and would be very hard pushed to move away. The bad weather in the winter is the only downside, either side of Crowborough is nowhere near as bad (Uckfield / T Wells) it's due to being the highest point in Sussex.

The bad winter weather is a good excuse to keep your scoob

I find that the road surfaces in sussex are a lot better than the surrey ones

Christmas Day lunch on the beach having a snack lunch. Evening put a large piece of fillet beef on the rottiserie to cook for a few hours. Preceeded by a few cold 'uns and portugese prawns.

We began life over here in Brisbane and loved it. Bit humid but Winters were fantastic, 6-10 weeks of sunny days around 25 degrees, summer wet and 35. Now in Adelaide and just come back from the beach 43 degrees and a gazillion flies to p!ss you off. Water was nice and a few dolphins to entertain.

Crackin place over all but miss the snow. We were back last Christmas and saw a little but not much. Also landed day after the last meet of the year

Rexes they're called over here [go to Sydney and they're also called rice rockets]. Thousands of them, japanese cars are very popular over here being so close to the asian market. Fords and Holdens are still a religion for Aussies though. V8 Utes are 10 a penny over here. I have been tempted with the Holden R8 or the Ford F6 Typhoon, but they only look good for a burnout, very american
