Default someone to scan my 1998 uk turbo ?

hi all my misses turbo has a miss fire that comes and gose ive done leads plugs and coilpack ! when i change the plugs they where black but i now need it scaned as i dont wont to throw bits at it can anyone help asap HELP

Check to see if its got the port under the steering wheel for the eobd socket, if not then its the connect to plugs together to get any codes off the car

I doubt a 98 will have an active OBD port.

Disconnect the O2 sensor thats screwed into the top of the downpipe.
It won't cause an error but if the sensor is duff it may run smoother.

generally it will have an 'OBD style' port BUT yuou require the likes of a Select monitor to connect...........

Subaru's are not compliant until the new-age type cars

That'll be the Subaru specific Select monitor port.
You can read out if there are any error codes stored by connecting some connectors under the steering column.
