What pressures are you guys running with 18" rims???

In the cold weather im runnin 215/35/18s @29 psi
Dunno if this the right pressure but works for me

Taken from the label (drivers door post) for 225/40 x18:

Light load = front 33 rear 31

Heavy load = front 36 rear 35.

whoa seems im running mine low,
will this affect handling if mine are too low?

I would have thought so, but classics are lighter than the newage scoobs.

The figures I quoted are from Subaru for the WR1 which I believe was the 1st to have 18s as standard . ( I could be wrong on that though )

i tend to run slightly higher pressures as i'm hoping it might reduce the chance of damaging the rims on potholes!

You will definitely have to reduce them for the ring.

When I first fitted mine (classic wagon), and had Prodrive geo settings done by TSL, they recommended pressures of 35 F and 32 R, and they seem to have been fine over the years.

Guys don't trust the tyre gauges at petrol stations or in fact tyre fitting places. I brought a digital gauge after using big e,s one. Petrol station gauges both analogue and digital type as much as 4 psi out, I had 2 new tyres on font of m3 on Thursday, there gauge was 3psi low. M3 is a pain as you have to have oposing tyres even or bloody tyre pressure warning light comes on

Dont forget, tyre pressures go up with hard driving.

Peoples that are going to The Ring should ideally do a sighting lap, then pull over and check your pressures and reduce if required.
When I went round last year, the rear end grip started to lesson as the tyre pressure increased.
The same goes for the track IE Brands Hatch in April.
