Default kph/mph converter

how easy is it to get to the speedo cable at the gearbox on my V2? iv finaly got a converter and want to do it in my lunch break.. have I got to take a lot off to get to it???

dependant on the type they either fit between the top of the cable and the back of the clocks or they go between the 2x halfs of the speedo cable just to the side of the turbo

seems I have the wrong type of converter.... on taking the cable out of the gear box the ends are bigger...same shape but bigger...on the converter the slots are smaller... any help here

You haven't pulled it right from the gearbox have you? That has a very flat end on it. Your meant to leave the "pig tail" part in, and the converter goes on the end of that.
