??

I assumed that most of us are interested in cars / performance and that most watch Top Gear, and that many would find the complete listing of some interest.

Subaru's are also included and would also indicate what cars share similar performance.

Are these all standard cars Clive

Cj, I'm interested in how spurs will do this week end, it's not like I'm ever going to play for them

shame the cars have to get over a speed bump as that Caparo T1 destroyed that leaderboard!

Sorry Chris but you've lost me with your comment tbh!

Yes you could get the info elsewhere if you wanted it, but I would have done the same thing and shared it on here. It's just what you do?

I must be wrong then ,but cant see anything in the list as different circuits will suit different cars . Take them to ten Curcuits and your get ten different results .
As said in the first post don't take it the wrong way , but it seems you all have .

There are many quicker that mine now mate. I may of been up there at one point but lots now. As RCM have mentioned many times bhp means nothing at all. It's how the car drives and the power it delivered that is the goal.

Very true statement as I have found out many times.

The one place I have always wanted to lap the P1 is the Top Gear Track as we can relate to that venue and compare to other cars.
I'm on the case at the moment and looking into it.

Not sure if thats the Aventime thing that Hongkongfooi mentioned, or their homebuilt eco car? (the Hammerhead iEagle Thrust... whatever it was! )

And yes, I would love to see a comparison between modded cars, especially with a consistent driver, just see the difference between a standard car, the same car with more power and standard suspension, modified suspension and standard power... etc.

EDIT: Just checked, Hongkongfooi is spot on, that time was their tweaked Aventime!

Would be interesting to see exactly how much it costs for the 2 hours there especially with the word 'from' in front of that £199!

The only other place i could find was for a whole day with lunch etc at £1995 plus Vat per car!!

You would enjoy John's company Mum.

If James Bond had a brother, it's John

I would LOVE to see him in a Tux standing beside an Aston LOL

I've just started a thread in The Woc to gauge interest on a day at Dunsfold and there are a few right up for it.

Not sure if it's a case of "more cars there are the cheaper it becomes"?

When I get some time I will look into it.

I'm sure there'd be people on here interested, the place i saw was a maximum of 25 cars i think as it was only one car at a time because of the figure of 8 crossover layout of the track itself.....

Nope sorry this was on the site that had it advertised for £1995 plus Vat for the whole day! i'll try find the link for it, i'm sure it was advertised as a private track day which is why the price is so expensive!

reading around in various forums it seems that Plans motorsport use the track to test customer cars once they've done geo setups etc but they also do the driver training i think Moley posted the link to above which is how you actually get to drive the track yourself but not sure whether it would be your own car or not....

the only other way i've seen is the supercar experiences where you get 4 laps in an r8, aston, lambo etc...... for about £90

the first option seems the best day but also the most expensive by far!! approx £2400 quid for up to 25 cars..... someone's making a few quid out of it!

I've still got some Christmas shopping to do so will pop into a building society with a sawn off and treat us all!

That would probably be a safer option!

Kerstin,

I think Clive's been at the Babycham again. I'm more like Jabba the Hutt standing next to a Trabant...

It will all depend on how well my car is when it's back on it's feet, plus it will need to be run in as well. Hopefully running in will be done by Jan end so we'll have to see.

Cheers

Lol, Boy, Fat Boy , I never saw Jabba the Hutt standing next to a Trabant. So I'm sure it would be worth a look.

Anyway, wishing you all best luck with your car. Hopefully it will all run according to plan.
