New clutch and flywheel

Ok my clutch has been slipping a bit lately so probably on its way out and also get a bit of judder sometimes.

I was trying to hang out until I replace engine and go 6 speed gearbox, but with having to buy our house in next few months everything is a bit up in the air and Scooby might end up having to go.

Before the car may have to go some track days and Nurburg trip are still in order and I feel clutch just isn't going to last.

I have pretty well decided a 5 speed pink box Exedy clutch, but flywheel, should I get it skimmed or chuck in a lightweight one?

skimming £60? new flywheel £220? so I am not overly bothered by small increase in expense if worth doing.

anyone got an opinion, also looking for somewhere to fit it for me, as I am fairly busy working on other stuff at moment.

And you maybe able to get Ian Dyney to collect and drop off on a day his working there as his round the corner from you

contrary to various re-sellers the flywheel does NOT have to be replaced or skimmed as a matter of course........it does require inspection on change for any surface damage though

Good luck mate, hope you've got a garage, it started mine last week and spent a total of about 4 hours now due to the weather,

I have a garage but another car in it, so will wait until weather better as no rush at moment.
