Default Brands Hatch today.

Spent the day with Liz's brother at Brands Hatch, full GP circuit. 6 sessions with only one stoppage following a 3 car off.

Variety of cars out in 3 groups, MG's, Lotus's , race cars testing, the MK 2 black escort was running 415 bhp from a s2000 turbo'd engine and was super quick. The M2 was testing Goodyear tyres all day.

Marks red RV8 (LS 6.2 engined) ran well all sessions except some possible ' hot fuelling' causing intermittent hesitation when maxing the throttle?

Just a some of the cars out today. 👍IMG_20190801_142247749_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_142352296_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_142231545_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_142552595_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_142455176_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_142736245_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_130644606_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_142654044_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_143741731_HDR.jpgIMG_20190801_101238131_HDR.jpg

Interesting to see the Blue MG with the V8 in the second picture, the guys building Project Binky have got their hands on one of the Carbon Fibre body shells and are looking to build it up in the future, problem is they're missing vital suspension components and they were looking for people that may have one they can use as a template.

Great stuff, and being the GP circuit it must have been a fun day.

That Escort is bonkers, almost looks like an insane hillclimb or pikes peak style effort. Awesome

130 mph at Pilgrims Drop/Hawthorn Hill, no idea how that compares but not much came past
