Default Wheel Refurbishment South London

Hi folks,

Just picked up my first Impreza! A 2004 WRX SL, which is a big change from my 1.4 Fiesta! The car seems solid, but has a few issues I'd like to rectify.

The tyres are no brand efforts which I'd like to replace ASAP. I'm still to determine in the daylight what make and model the alloys are (and that will depend what I do next).

Assuming I keep them (if they're the Prodrive PFFF ones), is there anywhere in South London folk would recommend to get them changed from the gopping red colour they are? How much might I be looking at?

Their are quite a lot in south London who refurb allows, but if you want them done right you will most probably have to pay the cost of nearly a new set of alloys, especially if they have to take off the tyres for the refurb first..."First aid wheels" do some good work but they're not cheap.SJ.

Without doubt just go down the A2:

https://www.lepsons.com/

I have used them for years and theyve always been spot on with my PFF7s

Lepsons are superb, but you really do get what you pay for with alloy wheel refurbs.

Both of my sets have been refurbed 6 or 7 years ago, the lepsons ones still look like new, the other set I had done in elsewhere are knackered, paint flaking off etc.

Post a photo up, sure we'll be able to help - i guess you're trying to identify between genuine PFF7s and replicas like Inovit Redline etc?

That's it, if the wheels are replicas I shall not bother getting them sorted. Will get some pictures up, there's no names on the outside or wheel centre markings

Lepsons vote from me.
My PFF7's were better from Lepsons than they were from Subaru/Prodrive/Speedline when new.

A full set refurbed including tyres off/on is about £350.

Probably rep then unfortunately. Genuine PFF7s have the words Prodrive, Speedline and Flowforming on them. Image robbed from elsehwhere:

Lepsons standard finish i.e single colour no diamond cut.
18 inch wheel :

Set of 4 wheels = £266 + vat (includes 5% discount)
(For a set of 4 wheels with tyres add £14.25 + vat per wheel)
