Trainee Pilot Ami "Rockbun" Rudrum



I say Chaps!

Ami drove the green wagon solo for the first time today and now takes to the tarmac a fully-fledged Subaru owner and Squadron pilot!!!!!!!!!

Whizzo and chuffed to bits! Keeps it in the family, what!

As part of the 'Rudrum' clan I will not say welcome to the madness… as I'm sure you're already part of it!

To gain Wgn Sqn 'Pilot-ness' you must fly a long and twisting road, so it's a good job the boys at HQ have got you a more than adequate craft for your training.

If you can remember these 2 things you’ll go far…

1) Alpha vectors are always victor unless the vectoring angle of the victor is variable in which case the vector becomes roger

2) NARF welding has nothing to do with NERF levelling

I say Old Chap! Young Ami has been subject to very strict procedures by jove!

Fortunately, Sector Black Stealth Flight "legend", Fl Lt Cynthia "Storm" Sharpley, took young Ami through the rigors of training yesterday, in a relaxed atmosphere!

Including::

Situational awareness training on top of the "tall training tower". All pilots know that when a pilot loses situational awareness, the result is often completion of an accident report, frowned upon by the Squadron Admin Team!!!


Further, there was training in "bright light recognition" in the specially constructed "busy hubbub center"


Then there was "hand-eye co-ordination" training using the art of croquet!!


Followed by "distance model vectoring" using enemy recognition global statistics!!!


Ami passed all the training modules! Top show!!! Thanks Cynthia!
