Default Brake disk/pads change on my Astra, metal on metal noise??

Straight swap with standard for standard disks n pads...
15mins down the road a metal on metal noise ocures coming from the right wheel...
im abit confused by this as nothing was wrong or out of place...
they are loaded up with copper grease so its not a squeak...its like a grinding sound, light was fading before i could finish looking over but any ideas???
sorry if abit odd problem but its really got me stumped
