Default Cupra R or megane 225??

Right I've narrowed down that the car to get next should be either the sear Leon cupra r or the megane 225, I know many of you own scoobys being a Scooby forum but has anyone had any experience's with either of these, if so which one would be best?
Thanks

Cupra r all the way, much better than a renault all day long. Built properly, electrics that actually work, coil packs that won't break down every other week, a sunroof that won't leak from the factory (if it as one)........could be here all day.
P.s I used to work at tates renault!!!

Megan is a great track car but the Cupra internals can be pushed to 380BHP quite easily with a RevoTechnik remap and simple mods (2nd hand turbo from an audi).

Day to day the cupra as it's alot better put together. If it's going to spend any time on track and you're doing less miles on the road then the Megan. Check out K Tec if you fancied modifying it.

Renaults that are looked after don't fall apart... My Williams was perfect for the 3 years I had it and was pushing out over 200bhp on throttle bodies

We are looked too on the Cupra R when we are decided go with Renault 225.

Power delivery with remap on the Renault,I would say unexpected, turbo start to spool from 1700-2000RPM(full boost on the road just above 3k RPM and holding this boost up to redline),on the Cupra R with similar power feels good, but still something is missing there

Interior wise, hands down Renault is better equipped and at Renault you feel more comfortable

Engine wise,Cupra R is stronger engine,Megane 225 above 320bhp will need rebuild with stronger internals

I would suggest, try both and compare how it feels and mainly how it drive.

I won't be going to town nodding whichever I get, having trouble finding cupra r or 225's locally to test out!
Could ideally do with selling the mini first!
I've been offered a 225 cup & also a cupra for the mini but they're miles away and would want me to drive up to them, bit of a risk if they're a bit of a dog!?
