Default Cath calls in the Squadron!!!!!!

Not only do the 555 Wagon Squadron thrill crowds across the land with their daring formation parking routines, they also help fellow Wagoneers in need when resources allow!!!

And so it came to pass that young Chelcie wished to go to the ball. And mum Cath sent out a call on the Squadron hotline 555 – 555555 for a silver Wagon.

Stanislav Tobaccolord (he's foreign) in Comms immediately passed a message on to Dispersal, where Aviary Mountingthorpe of the Tactical Mayhem Team quickly prepared Silver Wing, piloted by none other than F Off Krud “No-bars” Simpleton, for the “Mission”.

Once in the Briefing Room, it was made clear to Simpleton that this was no ordinary mission! For a start, he would have to conduct the “Mission” in civvies!!!!

Further, there would be a formation flypast of the venue, the Cavendish Hotel, involving WAGONS NOT OF THE SQUADRON!!!!!!!!! IMAGINE!!!!!

The Squadron Leader pointed out that these two additional Wagons and their pilots would not have spent hours and hours honing their formation manoeuvre techniques, and this left F Off Simpleton with the daring task of controlling a formation under adverse conditions.

Luckily, the pilots of the two Wagons were both female, and this would make instruction far easier and multi-tasking would therefore not be a problem, like it was for Simpleton when he was a trainee at Wagon Flight School back in the day!

Anyway, Simpleton arrived at the pick up point and found Wagons parked in disarray!!

Compare this with a later formation photo taken just before final run through to the target.

The other two Wagons kept to the flight plan immaculately and Simpleton described it later at debriefing as “a breeze”! Remote cameras recorded the mission as it reached its “final phase”.

And what of Simpleton in civvies? Yes! It is REALLY him!!!!

HURRAH for F Off Simpleton and the Squadron, and the two plucky lady pilots who supported him so ably on "the Mission".

THIS SCRIPT WAS RELEASED BY THE 555 WAGON SQUADRON PRESS OFFICE AT 12.24 HOURS TODAY.

Bravo chap... 100% mission success and no losses... There's a rumour around the base that our Special Ops tea lady 'Imakur Agudbru' thinks you're quiet the 'dish' in those civvies!
