Default with thanks to good friends

good friends make you realise that life aint so bad!

the story sarah myself and bump were moving on wed 3rd of august but we got a heads up that there was a problem in the chain from chrisis scooby our estate agent.
on the 3rd we had to wait and be told at 1pm people at bottom of chain had lost morgage on day of completion, with removals people sat outside.

so it was agreed to give them extention on completion date by 2 weeks to try to get another morgage this they failed so they were given another 2 weeks, they got new morgage, solicitor phoned wed at 5pm can you move friday? i said yes! they said will confirm thursday morning, then all goes quiet and on friday at 1.00pm i get heads up that they have lost morgage again

i had already moved garden furniture and a tropical fishatank and i am in pieces,

any way phoned a few scooby friends who i new werent working due to reasons and they were there to help me move stuff back to flat and also they just kept checking im all right

well today monday 19th sept the chain fell apart and sarah only has 7 weeks to go till bumps due date but i dont care

the reason i have made lots of good friends on the subaru forums over the years that are good to me and thats what matters, i still have a roof over my head! the flat is big enough for us and bump, and i will sell the flat again and find something else to buy!

what i have money cant buy and for that i am very lucky thank you all

Perhaps it was just not meant to be.

Sometimes things happen for a reason,

Good luck to you both and bump.

Buzz Really sorry to hear that it's fallen apart, not what you want when you have a new arrival on the way, but as Ian says it may just have happened for a reason.
Let's hope before to long we are reading a thread about your new house and the patter of tiny feet.

Good luck mate

Feel for you mate. Main thing is the three of you have a roof over your heads.

When the time is right try again and fingers crossed it all goes through.

Good luck mate and enjoy being a Daddy.

Steve

Never easy mate, this moving lark. Were you exchanging and completing on the same day then?. Its just unusual to here that a mortgage offer has been withdrawn on the day of completion (moving). Usually, the mortage offer comes in, then contracts are exchanged with a completion date set, to avoid what you have been through. Sounds to me like someone wasnt communicating properly as you shouldnt have been put in that position atall mate.

As you say though, many more important things in life and hopefully next time it works out for you.

Simon, I had heard a little bit about you not having the best of luck with this move. I'm so sorry to hear that it's all gone belly up finally.

But you are right in what you say, the things money can't buy are the important things, good friends and family around you are irreplaceable at the end of the day.

Good luck to the three of you
