Thumbs up Thank you, South East Scoobies :)

A big thank you to you guys who came along to the ASDA Charity Day in August and for donating your money for the good cause. A huge amount was raised. Chris Buckler who organises the day with ASDA every year posted the following 2 posts on Facebook today (I think he is not a member on here. That's why I thought I post it for you guys to see it):

Asda Charity Track Day......Just to start the ball rolling... The amount raised on the Subaru gate was £3,400...We doubled last years gate money and as far as I am aware we were the top earners again.
£3,400... thats raising money Scooby style.
Got to say a massive thanks to all the WR1 lads.....The P1WOC Boys..... the Guys from Scoobycity........ and the boys from South east scoobies. Also a big,big thanks to the WR1 Member who donated £1,000 to this great cause.
The full amount raised will be on Facebook tonight. Got to wait for Asda.

and:

Asda Charity Track Day...... First can I say a massive thank-you to the Walton family who give us free use of the track.......A massive thanks to John Forde and Chris Goodwin and all the Asda guys and girls who give up their time for this event.........But most of all thanks to all of you who came and enjoyed the day and spent your cash and everyone who used their cars you are all amazing.......And now how much....well,if anyone remembers my post just after the event I said we could hit £45.000....But we made £46,200.....I'll say that again £46,200 in one day,we have now raised over £330,000 in the last 12 years or should I say 12 days as we only have one day each year, that nearly £28,000 for each day. The first track day 12 years ago made £7,500..... and now we are at £46200. Well done to all.

And he jus added:

Just a note...we were the top earners,we creamed the GTRs by over £600

Once again many thanks and hope to see you there next year again.
