Default differences between 2004-2005 sti???

Is it just the wide track suspension and the dccd the only differences between the two models(uk sti) or is there anything else.
Cheers
Dave

Wheel PCD is 114 instead of 100 to accomodate larger wheel bearings
Suspension was improved IIRC

I think I have a few brochures uptairs, will have a quick speed read.

cams and heads are better, turbo changed.

obviously the improved interior (dash dials, heater controls), the rear bumper and rear arch extentions etc..

05 is a peach.. 353bhp the highest from totally standard ppp sti 05

Not sure about all of these updates - is this for a USDM car? Cruise control? Smoked headlight lenses?
Something not listed is the longer, Spec C inspired wheel base (the front wheels were moved forward in the arches).

I went for the new Crystal Grey, but wished I had chosen white

I've said it many a time too!

Mainly when it was being loaded onto the low loader at the ring 2 years ago, after having a **** and burying itself!

Cross fingers, toes, kick a black cat, eat a gorse bush etc, it's been ok since the rebuild!

But if it was a 2005, would I have had these problems? Apparently not. Nige was right, I should have bought the Evo8

Vince built your engine mate so no more worrys there. The later STI might have more goodies but how many people have seen the underside of your car. I really want to see this being pushed should be good. You call me secret squirel. Proper Q car Mr Worzel

if we're talking UK spec STi's then the most obvious difference you have all missed is the 2.5 rather than 2.0 lump.............

No, the 2.5 motor didn't come over here as standard until the Hawkeye, but I assumed he just meant the Blobs

I have no doubts about the car now mate

Daz Davies block, RCM bits throughout, Vince doing the build all leads to a good one, or should.

As for being a secret squirrel........ I may have a trick bit or two......I learnt it all from you master!
