Unhappy black diamond discs

i know we have discussed this before. Took mine off today nearside had 8 cracks very warped offside 11 cracks result do not buy them

I had them on my RA front&back for over 2 years and tracked it in that time without issue

are yours drilled? when i was looking at discs the black diamond failures seemed to be mainly the grooved/drilled discs, rather than just the grooved ones.

i'd generally avoid, theres plenty of other choices out there

yes steve drilled thats where the cracks are mate grooved only from now on i think

I had the drilled and grooved and they warped so quickly, and yes i did give them a nice bedding in session!!!

when i worked at halfords back in the day lol we sold black diamond drilled discs and nearly half of them came back with the same problem, there were mostly cracked between the drill holes, from experience it appears to be a common thing but everyone has their own opinion on brakes

Read recently that the more expensive types of 'holed' discs have their holes made at the mould,rather than drilled afterwards,hence dont have these probs but cost an arm and leg.
