The Evo VIII I 'followed' today wasn't running 1.5bar held, as my lowley UK scoob was gaining on him........my defi peaked at 1.5 though....(they do read a little high).

Possibly a UK GSR 260 varient. But the base 260 can be wound right up to MR360 power without changing a thing other than the map.

The 260's come with a low spoiler, but nearly all of them have upgraded to the larger rear spoilers.

Defo not a 260.
Reckon more like an FQ300 or FQ320 bearing in mind I'm probably running alot lighter then an EVO VIII.

He was also baiting me and overtook me earlier to make a point...if it were a 260 I doubt he would of dangled the carrot so much.

Both acknowlegded one another after which was nice....

Trying to compare like with like a WR1 pushes out 320 and according to an old article I just happened to read. The WR1 has identicle 0-120mph times as a 276BHP P1.
WR1 looses out due to weight and too many gear changes (6-speed).

I'm also probably running 35-45more BHP then a P1.

Don't just go for a boost gauge, go for a full set : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DEFI-STI-GAUGES-6 ... 286.c0.m14

Probably worth £200-£250 as sensors need sourcing.
And you will need an MY01 Pod as they are in a Classic Pod
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Subaru-Impreza-Tu ... 286.c0.m14

New Items without the STi Logo :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Defi-Subaru-Impre ... 286.c0.m14

Or Cheaper style Defi Copies : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-SM68-Electron ... m153.l1262

To be honest after wanting Defi's for years and now having them, I reckon the copies that are around now are just as good.

http://www.rspec.co.uk/index.php?main_p ... cPath=3_83

The next thing to decide is 52mm or 60mm ?

If you only want a single gauge then most pods are 52mm.
If you want a set then you normally have the option for the centre triple pod of 52mm or 60mm.

Good, I haven't connected for a while. I want to ask you a question about a Boost topic. I have the doubt that it would be more advisable in terms of the increase in Boost and efficiency, if I go testing with the diameter of the "pill restrictor" or otherwise replace the "wastegate" valve with the Kinugawa or similar with the possibility of changing the different springs with different degrees of sureness, my question is specifically if it is justified to place the wastegate with harder springs, or if the behavior would be better with the original wastegate and go altering the diameter of the pill to obtain the desired results? What is better? Who gets better results without having so many pressure spike problems?

My current configuration is a prodrive ECU MY99 AE801 with OEM turbo TD04L-13T (9-blade turbineof Kinugawa) Larger Intercooler, K&N filter, Equal Headers and 3 " full decat exhaust. Walbro 355LPH, 550 cc. Yellow´s. Samco IC hoses & Inlet too.

Thank you
