Default Solar battery charger

Has anyone used a solar battery charger on there car to trickle charge the battery while the car isent been used?

my friends got one of these
they won't charge a flat battery but will keep one topped up, if say your using electric fencing

Thats what i want it for ,just to keep the cars battery topped up while its sitting on the drive .Just to stop the alarm from draining the battery

That sounds like a bloody good idea!

Mines struggled to fire up at weekends in this cold. Could be a very wise investment
