Doesn't look too bad.

I would ask about the re-build though. Seems odd to be selling 5k after a re-build? Get details of who where when and why

Yeah definately.

Although i can understand selling it afterwards, i was trying to sell my last car and the gearbox spannered itself. Had to bite the bullet and get it done, then decided to keep the car for another few months just to get a bit of value out of it before trying to sell it again

My only comment on 97/98 years is that they can suffer piston slap, which was a common warranty repair at the time and can still slap after a while even after the repair.

Also the 97/98 are pretty limited on tuning unless you ditch the OE ECU in place of an Apexi PFC, Simtek or similar.

it's a bit of a bitzer' though
Advertised as a V5, but has V4 inlet manifold which will mean it's 97/98 model V4.
Steering wheel is V4, maybe even just a stock item an not STi as cannot see red stitching on it or the handbrake.
Has V5 bumper/grill and crystal H/lights.

It also says it has a remapped ECU...the 97/98 ECU in not mappable, so either a porkie or it's running an Apexi. If the latter then I am sure they would advertise as such.

Despite all that it will probably fetch a bit more then the other one....
