Only too late from the fact the hotel is booked up completely. If you are happy booking yourself in at the same hotel as the second batch or one of your own choice, then no problem at all

Just asked the question, will post ASAP

The choice is yours really, there's a group going on both. Tunnel is quicker.

I have changed the cost of the cheap twins as requested by Jackie, as these are 10 euro's a night more expensive. So number 12 & 13 on the list are now @ 62 euro's per night.

http://www.hotel-wilhelmshoehe.de/
Comfort Doubles / Twins @ 88 euro's per night

One of these can be made into a triple room

1: Steve Green & Jay Seal - Comfort Twin - FERRY BOOKED - 88 euro's per night
2: Martyn Chapman Smith & Richard Ninnis - Comfort Twin - 88 euro's per night
3: Steve & Claire Gates - Comfort Double - 88 euro's per night
4: Clive Phillips & Heather Phillips - Comfort Double - 88 euro's per night

Standard double/twin @ 78 euro's per night

4 of these rooms can be made into triples.

5: Ian Pain & Pete Stockley - Twin - 78 euro's per night
6: James Nash & Adrian - Twin - 78 euro's per night
7: Joel & Jess Theobald - double - 78 euro's per night
8: Nige + 1 - Twin - 78 euro's per night - FERRY BOOKED
9: Daz & Lucia - Double - 78 euro's per night
10: Adam Greensmith && Tom Gray - - Twin - 78 euro's per night

Single 52 euro's per night / Twin @ 62 euro's per night

All three of these single rooms can be made into cheap twins.

11: Ian Mitchell - single 52 euros per night
12: Jason Heath & someone else - Twin @ 62 euros per night
13: Kerstin @ twin at 62 euros per night (One Night)

Thats a shame Tim, it would have been good for Greg and Dave H to sample the hospitality of Jaqueline.

The hotel is ideally positioned but one thing is for sure,

It certainly wont be as quite, nor will the food be as good.

Looks like Jason 73 will now be able to join in with the rest of the group which will be good for a newbie.

I don't for sure.

Surely the fact of the hotels location is on the edge of what will be a very busy town as its a bank holiday weekend as it was the 1st year.

I would be very surprised if the food is as good, the standard of Jacqueline's food in the past 3 years has been excellent.

Still lets hope I am wrong.

If anyone else wants to cancel their rooms, can they please do so this week.

I don't really fancy going back to Jackie yet again cancelling yet more rooms, she moved a lot of stuff around to accommodate us, so I don't want to let her down any more.

It's beginning to look like two completely separate groups now, which is really sad.

I was waiting for Jackie to come back with the B&B Prices first, but the cancellations mean that we don't need the B&B now.

I will post details tomorrow for the deposits.

Good to have Tim and co in the same hotel. Can't comment on food, but for us location to the track and being able to walk Into adenau played a big part in the decision. not sure how the quiet thing works ad both hotels are now full.

Being perfectly honest , Im not fussed about others choice to move hotel, as I don't know half of the guys in other hotel, also all my muckas are in jaquies .

Although I would feel very diferent if I had put all the work into the planning of this years trip.

Jaquie has been fooked about loads this year

Good night all

Well I've not ****ed anyone about, if anything have helped out and acting as chaperone to the newcomers. If people chose to join us, thats their choice. As jaquelines hotel was partially booked by others, we had no option.

10 Hotels contacted last week, all responded with and without availability. The nearest to jackelin was nurburg, so we would of only been a couple of k's closer then we are now, and have to taxi into adenau from there. So imho where we are was the best and most practical option from what was available for such large groups.

If there hadn't been any availability we would of gone a different week, so the ses trip would of been weeks apart not miles apart.

Oh big deal, so were split up.

The odd phone call and we can all meet some where for a drive or a meal, Its not going to get any easier each year as the group may get bigger and bigger.

Im sure we'll all enjoy it.

Too true mate. We will all spilt off and do our own thing anyway.
We didn't even stick together the 1st yeat with a group of about 8 let alone 20+.
It's gonna be a right laugh.

Agreed mate, both years i've been theres been a lot of hanging about in the hotel car park waiting to get ready and for everyone to decide whats going on, its only going to get harder to get organised with a bigger group.

Like its been said, its a 25 min (very nice) drive down to Adenau, and the guys down there are welcome to come up in evenings to Jackies i'm sure. Definately have to have at least one big get together for evening meals, if not more.

I'm happy at Jackies, its a cracking hotel and she sure knows how to look after us. Looking forward to getting our room cards and adding to the drinks tally

I have to be honest and say that I am gutted that the group is being split up like it is.

However, I can see why it's been done. Especially when you are talking about trying to shoe horn 3 people into a room for 2. That doesn't work .

The issue as far as I was concerned is that Jackie had filled out the hotel, after shifting everything by a week (no-ones fault but GmbH ) and then booked rooms at the B&B for us, to cater for all except for Robs Group. I'm now going to have to go back again and cancel rooms, which doesn't look good. But, hey ho, needs must. Tim obviously needed his own hair dryer

The truth of it is, we all go into Adenau every single day we are there, be it for food, 102 ron juice, pay speeding fines etc. So it really should be no hardship. The group at Jackies will have a great time, we all know what to expect there. I'm sure the other group will have an equally good time down in Adenau. It will give us another hotel bar to have a swifty in too

One thing I would like to try and do if possible, is get everyone to have one meal over at Jackies if possible? Maybe Sunday night???? I hope everyone will agree to that?

Anyhow, lets move on from this and look forward to a great trip away.

Roll on a nice cold stein of Bitburger (or 12 )

Much love and all that

For me the banter at Jackies and eating/drinking there in a big group is all part of it...

Still say its fooked up and Adrian and myself both said we would share to accomadate more people, so both will be paying fuel bills on our own for what... You lot to then piss off to another hotel

Cant see why im not happy

That's a very good point James. That early evening beer back at Jackies is great. All the banter and the stories over a couple of ales before we crack on for the evening.

It'll be a shame everyones not there to join in with that.

Oh dear, this thread has been busy since yesterday. If I understood it correctly I now have a room in Jackie's hotel which is just fantastic. I'm soooo happy about it although also a bit sad because this has become possible only because others have cancelled their rooms. I'm really sorry about the trouble you lot had because the group is now splitting but fortunately it seems as if everything has eased up again now. Let's all look forward to a great time. I can't wait to be in the hotel with you lot and look forward so much to the nice banter. It was so enjoyable last year although I only spent a short time with you there. Can't wait to try the food you are all praising so much either.

@ Worzel: Steve, you're doing a brilliant job. Many thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks Kerstin, that's very kind.

It will be a great trip at the end of the day. It's great staying at Jackies for sure, you will love it there.

I am soooooo looking forward to tucking into a plate of Beef Olive and Veg, with a nice frothy stein of either Bitburger or maybe even some of that lovely Erdinger Wheat Beer!

Happy days indeed

It will be a great trip at the end of the day. It's great staying at Jackies for sure, you will love it there.

I am soooooo looking forward to tucking into a plate of Beef Olive and Veg, with a nice frothy stein of either Bitburger or maybe even some of that lovely Erdinger Wheat Beer!

Happy days indeed
Hmmmmmmmmm, sounds tasty.

Looks like the evo may not be making it back to the ring this year!!
However there may be something else to replace it...
