Default Final list for the Ring (version 2!)

Hi guys,

Just wanted to make sure i've got the right list of folks coming along on Friday. Can people let me know if I've got anything wrong?

1: Steve Green & Laura Green (already in Belgium)
2: Nigel Kennedy & Joe Kennedy (travelling Thursday and getting lost on his own)
3: Steve Gates & Claire McDavitt (travelling Friday)
4: Clive and Mrs (travelling Friday)
5: Martyn Chapman Smith (already in Belgium)
6: Nick & Sian Elliman (travelling Friday)
7: Ian Pain + Pete (travelling Friday)
9. James Nash + Adrian + ??? (travelling Friday)
10. Simon Daulby + Mrs (travelling Friday)
11. Pete & Sally Tollhurst (no idea, assume in Belgium with Steve/Martyn?)
12. Ian Mitchell (travelling Friday)

So.... 4 cars meeting at Clacketts @ 5:50am (me, Nick, Adrian's 22b and Simon), 3 more meeting at Shell, J11 @ 6:45am (Big E, Clive and Granby). So 7 cars on the boat Friday morning?

Let me know if any of the above is wrong?

I'm sure it's wrong - does 5:50am actually exist?

Yes, we'll meet up with the other three cars at M20 J11. Theres a Shell garage there which we'll fill up on proper vpower before we get on the boat. (vpower in Belgium is poo).

I'll need to stop again before Belgium (200 miles to a tank)!

We're only in France for about 15 miles

Guessing we'll need to stop somewhere around Brussels.

There is shell garage on outskirts of Brussells.
I filled up in tunbridge wells and got to Brussels with just over 1/4 tank. We did cruise all the way with only odd spurt.

Just returned from RCM and the P1 is all nicely set up now the new dampers are back on

Had a good chat with uncle Ian last night (The Big E) and he kindly gave me a rough idea of what the trip is all about and I now have a damp patch

Certainly will be Crowman.

The first 3 times I took it on track (after the RCM build) i was changing up around 6500 rpm & corning what I would class as fairly quick but the 4th time on track I had a chat will Olly & Matt Clark about pushing it and they both said just rag the thing, so I did, changing at 8K, hard on the brakes and chucking it into the bends like someone pi55ed and it was then I truly realised what I had paid for.

This is one reason I am so looking forward to The Green Hell
The last time on track was on a Sat at Snetters and the P1 was lapping faster than all eight Time Attack cars on track that were practicing for TA on the Sunday which proved the set up was good on a 37f / 32rear.

Wont be running that hard at The Ring as it will be all over the place. Will be trying 24f / 20r at first & see how it feels & leave the tyres at 2.0 Br.
