Default Clutches......

As my clutch has now started to slip, will be changing the clutch kit and fitting a lightened flywheel.
Which products have you guys/girls used and would recommend? Paddle clutch or normal type?
I'm running 350 and will be looking for more soon, so need something up to the job.

Rich.

Excedy and Flywheel from API engines.

Robevo5 had an excedy in his 2.5 and it felt like a standard clutch....but the improved clutch then caused 3rd gear to strip as previous clutch was giving gearbox and easy life.

thats alot of money.
Pretty sure the Exedy are around £400 plus about £120 for the flywheel when Rob got his.

Give PI a call IIRC they can also quote what clutch can take what power....

Your stock one hasn't done bad, and I'm only running an ADL Blueprint OE style kit.

Well after speaking to Mark @ Lateral (very very helpful)....he advised that they are having problems with the Exedy clutch, i.e the 6 spring organic's are having probs with clutch judder....so they brought out a 4 spring one which has cured the judder but cant take the power.
He is looking into me either fitting a 6 speed clutch (if poss) or sourcing something else for the same sort of price as the Exedy....just waiting a call back from him (the story of my life).
