Default What boost?

hi guys!! hope everyone had a gr8 xmas!! i have fitted my gauges!! and now am pondering over what my car should be boosting at, for those who dont know, she is a uk classic on a V plate, with full system and de cat pipe, hks induction kit, dump valve and up rated fuel pump, now when i first fitted it, i drove it and at idle it was at -0.7 bar, and at full boost was at 0.9 bar, and was holding that constant, i heard it should be around 1 bar so thought ok not bad to start. now drove her yesterday, and all sorts of lights came up when she was peaking at just under 1.2 bar??? and was holding this pretty constant too?? any ideas any one???

cheers, Damien

All sounds like it was spot on as .8 is standard boost .
Check hoses to boost solinoid and actuator . sounds like the waste gate is not opening

sent email, as CJ say's check hoses as blockage of restrictor will cause boost increase.
MY99/00 are mapped to peak 13.64psi (0.94bar):
