Default BHP Performance Show 2013 - Lydden Hill

Very belated on this one, but there has been loads on the last month and not enough time to sort through photos!

Last month was the BHP Performance Show at Lydden Hill. Never been before, but decided to give it a go based on a recommendation from bandit. Glad I did as it was a really good day out with a hugely eclectic mix of cars both on and off track.

Here are a few of my faves from the day…

SVA Imports 350Z tyre killer:

Perfection:

All tastes catered for in the track sessions…

…even the two wheelers got a track session as well:

Happened to spot an RS200 in the paddock, thought it would be rude not to take a picture (or two)…

(Note bandit keeping a wary eye in case I made an inappropriate move on the car)

Definitely needs more wing.

Super tidy Mk.1 Escort in the paddock…

…and out on track:

This Skyline sounded ridiculously awesome.

Plenty of Scoobs there on the day…

…including some forum members…

I still want one:

Time for new tyres:

There truly was something there for everyone. Definitely an event marked onto my list for a repeat visit in the future!

Sadly it wasn't running on the day as it massively exceeds the track noise limits. Its just been rebuilt (again), has got a new sequential transmission and will be heading for Pikes Peak soon...

Would definately recommend it, wasn't that expensive to get in either: even better!

Well you've got a whole year to get it ready for the next one! Was a really good day out (and helped by the fact the sun was out all day)

It truly was a fantastic day.

I organised a stand for the Subaru's and the grey MNR in the pics (It's my wife in the passenger seat ).
I thought we would struggle to get 10 - 15 cars but we ended up with around 30 - 35 including 2 trans ams, the MNR and my lads Audi TTS.

I took 5 of my own to make the numbers up (I thought) How wrong was I

If someone organises it next year I guarantee you will have a great day with a lot (albeit late) of support from owners.

Hopefully there are some more pics of the stand etc floating around out there.

That was your wife? Graham and myself were laughing as the MNR went round as the passenger didn't seem to be moving at all: was your wife frozen with fear?!

Was that your stand at the top of the hill (on the paddock side?)
