The SVM GTR's are serious bits of kit.... yet they are only in Club Class for Time Attack this year.

Don't say was only just yet Granby. The big boys haven't even started there engines yet. It's a bit to wet. The biggest EVO engine will be a 2.3/4 not a 3.4 with twin turbos's. Should be good tomorrow + some big powered Audi pussey's are meant to turn up.

Simon is 2nd so far on the 30-130 his top speed run isn't so good but I don't know anything about his gearing. Big powered stuff still to come. Audi & Porker not so good on the 30-130 :EVO:

The SVM GTR went from 25mph to 218mph in 5844ft (1.106 miles)
This only left 2807ft to brake from 218mph before the end of the runway and get round the corner!!

Edit to add:
The GTR was doing 215mph when it went past the pit area!

Happy with the day . We never came for top speed . The event is 30 to 130 the top end is just a bonus if you want to .
Main thing was shake down the car and see if it works , and it did
9th out nearly 90 car for a first outing would make anyone happy .
