I had about half an inch on the car when I went out earlier to go to work, it's not really settling though.

Still snowing here though.

That's strange, Nikki text me this morning to say she experienced half an inch last night but I'm not sure if she was taking about snow or not?

From my experience it will be great going forwards, but like any other car on performance tyres, THEY DONT STOP!!! so be careful out there. You can get lulled into a false sence of security as they feel quite planted in the snow, but they still dont stop or go around corners any better. Find an empty car park though and they are great fun :scoob:

This year however i have 265bhp and rwd in a bmw hatchback. Not going to be fun if it snows!

Looking forward to it again. Got a classic wagon hack thats a bit rough around the edges cosmetically that I have no love for other than what it drives like. Perfect winter hack that I dont mind getting pebble dashed with grit, alloys curbed trying to stop it, or even if I have a bump against a lamp post.....

Bring it on !

But as lucky said - Be carefull guys, they take just as long to stop as any other car. Don't drive like many of the offroaders out there I saw last year who thought they were invisible and driving like complete twats.

If we get the white stuff, a car park meet and best donut competion would be fun

In answer to the original question... NO! It can snow on Christmas Day, but thats it!

On the last two occasions we've had snow I've been blocked in my road by my idiot neighbours and was unable to get to work. No work equals no pay, so I'm not keen for a repeat of that any time soon!

I'm going to be in the Brecon Beacons over Christmas so likely there will be snow. Staying in a farmhouse accessible only by dirt tracks across farmland so will be summoning my inner McRae at every opportunity
