Unfortunately the barge wasn't low on fuel but thought i'm not gonna miss this opportunity, so 4 x 10lt jerry cans and a top up and i'm £80 lighter

You were lucky to get away with that.

New laws say one jerry can only to be filled and put in vehicle according to Tonbridge Sainsburys Petrol Station Manager who walked out onto forecourt to bollok me for smoking and being on the phone whilst filling up

smoking inst a risk either. get a cup ful of petrol n put a lit cigarette in it n the cig just goes out ! (And yes I mean petrol, not deisel).
needs to be a naked flame or hot spark to get petrol going

yes, but even then it has to have the right air/vapour ratio I believe.
i suspect unless you attempt to use the underground tank's vent pipe as a bong, you should be ok lol

Went to get the scoob out the garage to fill it up then rememebered i did it last week and its not moved since

So no need for cheap vpower here!

Wish I noticied this yesterday... I was going to fill up from 1/4 like normal yesterday but was too hungry so carried on straight home. Damn

I ended up doing a 30 mile round trip as the nearest shell forecourt was shut!!

Worth it tho (Although not financially!), roads were nice and quiet at 8pm
