Default Lucky's widetrack blob sti

So, here it begins!

Firstly a big thanks to Dave (big emp) for an easy transaction And even putting tyre gel on for me before I picked it up.!

It's now sat on my drive.

Just the one picture at the moment as I've been too busy driving it!

Gave it a quick wash this afternoon and it seems as clean as the hawk was except for a few car park dinks in the doors which I will get sorted.

Really pleased and it drives really well and loving the 2.0 thump!! It also has that lovely deep burble that I could never get from the hawk.

Dings

Wheels - though I do actually like the STI ones, a nice of speedline turinis would be nice

Zunsports lower grill

Rear arb

Sports cat and remap

It's already got a lot of the stuff I put on the hawk like splitter, flaps, gauges, decent Sony head unit, de tango'd and Coilovers so that'll save a bit.

Gotta say the handling and ride on the bc's seems very good.

I like them OEM wheels. Personally I'd just put some 10-20mm hubcentric spacers on to bring the wheels right out on the arches and spend the money elsewhere. Very nice, do like a clean black scoob.

A few little jobs today. Didn't have much time but replaced the smoked side repeaters for the original ones and removed the side door stickers

I couldn't decide whether to re badge the car with all the original boot badges, or do what I did with the hawk and go clean. Decided to go clean again!

Lastly, the lights had gone a bit flat and misty outside, so out with some megs compound and then glass cleaner and they have come up a treat. Dave had already done a xenon conversion.

And that's it for today!!

I did think about leaving the door stickers but I don't particularly like the pink, especially on black and I think it just looks cleaner with none.

Lol, I know mate. As I said I did think about trying it with all of them back on but I know I would have only ended up taking them back off again.

I managed to get Wanda to agree to let me remove the TypeUK badge and the prodrive sticker on the back,... still working on the rest she says she likes them.. so they are staying for the mo.

Whats next for you Dave?

Dont laugh dave but im rolling in a 57 plate 1.3 diesel corsa lol (daughters car as she has just turned 17 so as i take her to work and pick her up she can drive and get the experience(along with taking proper lessons),and dont know how long she might take to pass 3 months or a year etc etc.which is why i sold the scoob as it would go out even less and they need to be used but as i said to steve i will be gutted if she does pass quickly,as would have kept it.

And whats next for me well after 10 scoobs always wanted to try a e46m3 and(flame suit on) and an evo 8 and then as everyone tells me back in another SCOOBY!!! LOL but we will see.

Looks like they've been split, sprayed and de-tangoed as well. Dave (Ginola) and Scott (Silver Surfer) have done write ups on this in the past for Blob and Hawkeye lights.

thanks Emp and Baron - I shall have to read up on those they defo look interesting - the scoob is my 2nd car atm with the ds3 being my daily driver but the headlights are defo not great ,, ,, on my last toy (discovery 2 es) I upgraded all the bulbs in fogs, headlights (main and dipped) 4x roof lights and 2x spots to nightbreaker plus - great bulbs but I had a lot of them and as the scoob only has the headlights to upgrade ill be looking for the best solution

I do like a bit of Flap moddage.......
I find they work better by warming them up with a good rub first.
