I have been trying to work out how you got the barring effect and finally sussed it. It's the reflection of the neons on the metal fencing. Really like the look that gives.
Just out of interest, what sort of exposure time did your mate use? I'm guessing somewhere about 8 - 12 secs on manual at F8-10? Pass on my congrats to him, really like the exposure
