advice on air intake
Ive got the front bumper, wheels and inside arches off my classic scoob. This is the first time ive done this and so was having a god look at the air intake thats situated by the wing and it strikes me that it could be made more efficient. The air isnt drawn in from the front but from on top of a white box which then seems to circulate the air before a pipe carries it to the actual air box, is there a reason for this and would it not be beneficial to run an alternate intake up to the air box?

yep, ditch the resonator box and plumb in a direct air feed. But be careful you don't locate where it can suck in water.

Cheers mate so what does the resonater box actually do?
I know youve mentioned dont mount it wher it can take in water, makes sense, if i was to front mount it off the front bumper, is there something i can do to stop it drawing in water off the road and dirt and stuff? |
