A little rumour is that my name has been put forward to go back out to Afghanistan for a 3rd tour to do the draw down , I'm going to find out tomorrow if that is true or not .

Is that a good or bad thing?

Any inside word on Ukraine?

The training ground area near Bisley has been a hive of activity recently.

Sounds like a war! Few of my clients live within earshot of the place. All we've heard recently is lots automatic gunfire, yelling, Chinooks, then the odd thump of artillery.

We've heard the odd bit in the past few years, but nothing to the scale of the past few weeks.

That was probably the most interesting feature on Top Gear this series, when James May showed the decommissioning of all the vehicles and what have you.

They must be doing some sort of training exercise ready for a deployment some where or they will go on 24hrs notice to move to go anywhere in the world .
