Default sourced another one,

Well after a 10 month break I've gone and put a deposit on another Scoob,,,
nothing special this time just a clean honest uk car,
Shocked to see how the prices have changed again in a short time, and less decent ones around,

Very nice. Second painting skirts and put a colour coded STI6 front lip on. Will transform the look and look allot more aggressive, but still be in keeping with OEM type look. Done it in the past to my Silver classic and totally changed the look of it. Would personally keep clear indicators as well. At least until/if you decide to sell.

Stock is nice, but subtle individual touches are always nice.

Well you have to give them credit for trying.

As if parking outside the Police station wasn't the safest place to park. The fact that they immobilise your car just means their going the extra mile (which is probably how far away from your house you have to park to get it working again)

Haha like the last bit , no it seems ok, but I did read up on this prior to purchase
As thanks to munk we know that driving a Subaru/sigma into the circle of lost signal around a police station can cause you some Serrano grief as in the cars never going to leave under its own power for the next 2-300 yards away,
That it was a recall and Subaru had to shield the alarm some how, and the MY00 cars got this, now having owned to many Subarus I know the sigma remote works fine from a distance and mine does but soon as at home it requires to be about 5mm away from the car to function lol ,

Just for the others to get where myself, munk and Scott are talking about it,
The MY99 and MY00 impreza UK models only- came with the standard sigma alarm function, how ever this alarm runs the same signal frequency as the police station does, meaning that once the car is switched off the signal is unable to go from the key fob to the Ecu and resulting in the car not being able to start , but pushing/towing the car several yards away it works like nothing is wrong,
It does not effect the key code tho as this is hard wired in and not requiring a signal,
And as you can gather I live in this wounderfull circle of bliss, resulting in having to have my key fog nearly in the car to unlock it haha

Not sure about Gold. I had a set briefly and didn't really like the gold against the tint in the MY00 Royal Silver.
I will dig out a photo.

Alloys on it already look nice enough to me. If they have decent tread on tyres I would put some miles on them and spend any surplus elsewhere.

Paint skirts etc yourself, key the plastic, coat with plastic primer then top coat then clear coat with a rattle can.

Check over and replace any bushes, drop links, disks/pads with OEM, decent oil service.

Prodrive ECU and prodrive rear box, new panel filer 240bhp job done.

Cool selection there Scott, where the st2's part of the wr package?
Thanks Shane for the indicators ,
The exhaust will be off over next few days.
Then search for a ppp kit

Yes, ST2 and PD7's were a Prodrive WR Option. That's why I had them, to keep it looking original. I would still have them if they went over Brembo's.

MY99/00 WR Brochure : http://impreza.co/wp-content/uploads...r-Brochure.pdf

Yours look like Prodrive RB5 alloys painted silver instead of anthracite.

Have the ppp ecu here from rb5, will get exhaust off tomorrow, just not sure what condition it is in. Have intercooler pipe as well all from prodrive wr sport rb5.
